We took a very easy 10am flight from Lusaka to Kigali Rwanda.

Landed in Kigali around noon (same time zone as Lusaka which is 6 hours ahead of EST).
Had lunch at Hotel des Mille Collines (the hotel in the movie Hotel Rwanda). For those of you who have seen the movie, it was filmed in South Africa so it looks a little different. Excellent lunch though.
We then stopped at the Genocide Memorial. 250,000 people are buried in this location alone. They also had an exhibit. Scary, humbling and sobering. Hard to imagine the country we saw today experience such an atrocity.
We then began the 3 hour drive out to Mountain Gorilla View Lodge near Volcanos National Park. It is a very hilly country with lots of people walking along the road.

Wonderful pics. Many Thanks. Hope all is going well. Lila is well, sleeping a little later and seems to be enjoying her new home. She sends you a good lick and a bark. Safe travel, stay well and be good to each other. Hugs
